Le Thanh Tu set up Jolie Siam in response to a vacuum of reception agencies for international visitors holding conferences or events in Vietnam. The company, which started in 2006, has helped to "meet and greet" guests for Acer, Sony Ericsson, Miss Universe 2007, and the French Embassy. Jolie Siam hostesses who are trained in hospitality and fluent in a variety of languages provide welcoming services at trade exhibitions, receptions, cocktail parties, and receiving guests at the airport. Tu graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Luton in France and a master's degree in business management from the University of Lyon 3.
