A young girl, after years of study in France, has returned to set up a Jolie Siam company to make the dream come true: Marketing smile of Vietnam by a quite strange service: supply receptionist for office diplomatic etiquette, events ... with the receptionist staff are trained as professional.
Golden impression
We have only one chance in the first encounter, to make the best impression in the eyes of our customers. A moment is well enough to determine success or failure of product series or bold portrayed friendly culture of business in each customer’s mind. Because businesses do not know about this key, reception is not “returned” to its proper position: though the event, introduce company, sell product, and also marketing the image of Vietnam over the world. Western companies, long time ago, treasured the first impression to make a first step for development.

Therefore, when Blandine Peillon, Charlestown director - the corporation of applied professional reception services in the city of Lyon (France) triggered the idea of founding receptionist company to take bold of the Vietnamese, Vietnamese soul, Ms Le Thanh Tu decided to return to set up Jolie Siam company after graduating Masters in Management of small and medium companies in France. "Jolie Siam" means the fate with Siam (which is the name of Blandine Peillon’s daughter – a girl who many people said that is liked Tu strangely). Tu thinks that doing business, beside satisfying needs of market, there should be a fate.
Doing as receptionist is not hard
Although original style of receptionist is from France, Vietnamese receptionist style is not influent by western style: always solemn, seemed difficult to close. In contrast, Vietnamese is hospitality, discreet, Eastern style but friendly, hard to forget. Premises are so common. However, going into the process is a ritual art. First, Jolie Siam “models” are students, international students who are studying or graduated from universities, specialized in culture, tourism, sport with fluent foreign language and good-looking faces. The delicate appearances are in black vests, scarves… as international standard. Because of first impression, besides uniform other small details are very important such as hair styles, makeup, jewelries. French receptionist usually welcome customers with hand behind, make hair high and confident smile but for Vietnamese or Japanese receptionist with less hair covering face presents discreet, mouth smile gently, hand always forward to guide customers though many layers of doors to enter the hall.

Each young receptionist step by step creates for their own thoughtfulness characteristic. They can know how many hall doors, walk fast… but the most difficulty is reaction when some events occur suddenly. Thuy Quynh, graduated student of University of Economics, works from the very first days shared
“just standing and just talking is a very big mistake” because reception require a perfect model for protecting image of company. She told an unforgettable memory when serving a guest. He is prissy and does not like complicated welcoming procedure so that he walked though to hall, go to VIP line and sit there. Although Quynh had no idea about that guest, she went there and talked gently: “Hi sir, you seem forgot a meaningful thing for you?” The guest was so surprise then he smiled and allow Quynh to put a flower on his suit and received important documents of seminar.
In many times welcoming guest at airport, Thanh Tu gained experience that there should be a receptionist team to welcome guest at airport, prepare flower basket, flower rings to show hospitality of Vietnamese for foreign guests. Before undertaking director role, Tu was hard-working to research, look at a lot of rituals over the world, though TV, internet also in Vietnam. Then, she create a special way for welcoming from design of uniform, color of fabric to behaviors.
In the future, Tu desire to develop company become the best company which supply reception services of Vietnam to make reception become a real career which is admitted by society about its profession and reality.
